1. About DateSafe
DateSafe is a consumer safety product currently in development, operated by DateSafe (sole trader), United Kingdom. Our website is www.getdatesafe.com. By accessing our website or placing a deposit, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. The Founding Member Deposit
By paying the £5 Founding Member deposit, you:

• Reserve your place as a Founding Member of DateSafe.

• Acknowledge that the product is currently in development and does not yet exist as a finished item.

• Agree that your deposit will be applied toward the final purchase price of your DateSafe device.

• Understand that estimated delivery timelines are indicative only and subject to change.

3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely through Wix Payments. DateSafe does not store your card details.

4. Refunds and Cancellations
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details. In summary, deposits are fully refundable on request at any time prior to product fulfilment, or automatically if the product does not ship within 24 months of your deposit date.

5. Product Development Disclaimer
DateSafe is a product in development. While we intend to deliver the product as described, specifications, design, and features may change during the development process. Any material changes will be communicated to Founding Members by email.

6. Intellectual Property
All content on getdatesafe.com, including the DateSafe name, logo, product descriptions, and marketing materials, is the intellectual property of DateSafe. You may not reproduce or use any content without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DateSafe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or participation in the Founding Member programme, beyond the value of your deposit.

8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
